First death in Trecase, a small town in the province of Naples on the slopes of Vesuvius mourns its first death from coronavirus.
"This is news I never wanted to give. I have just learned, with deep sorrow, of the passing of one of our fellow citizens affected by the coronavirus. VGA, aged 77, hospitalized at the Cotugno hospital in Naples, did not make it. On behalf of the entire Community of Trecase, we are close to the family and I express our deepest condolences". Mayor Raffaele De Luca wrote this on the institutional Facebook page.
In Trecase there are currently 7 positive people, two of whom are hospitalized and five, almost all asymptomatic, in isolation in their homes.
