Qualiano: Carabinieri arrest 27-year-old stalker. The victim only wanted to protect his daughter.
I Carabinieri of the Qualiano station have executed a precautionary measure order, issued by the Court of Naples North at the request of the local Prosecutor's Office, against a 27-year-old local man, known to the police, responsible for the crimes of stalking and personal injury against the father of the girl he had fallen in love with without receiving reciprocated affection.
In particular, the man, already in the past but especially during the last month of September, had repeatedly threatened to kill his victim, even using clubs and knives, going as far as – on a couple of occasions – even beating him savagely and hitting him in the face with a jack.
The reason for the hatred between the two would be that the unfortunate man had intervened to defend his daughter and her boyfriend who was in turn being persecuted by the suspect. The 27-year-old wanted the girl all to himself and did not accept that she was with someone else. The arrested man was placed under house arrest pending trial.
