The Real Sito Foundation of Carditello, which has always been a cradle of contaminations and extraordinary creative energies for travellers from all over the world, is at the forefront of stimulating creativity and promoting the circular economy in the cultural industry, promoting legality with innovative startups and new training courses.
A path that arises from the inclusion policies adopted by the Foundation and from a new development model for cultural heritage, which has allowed Carditello to establish itself as a point of reference for Invitalia for the stimulation of the Caserta province.
“Carditello – explains Roberto Formato, director of the Real Sito di Carditello – in addition to representing a heritage of notable historical and environmental interest, proposes itself as a hub to promote the development of entrepreneurial initiatives in the cultural and tourist industry, through partnerships with local companies, incentive tools such as Resto al Sud and Cultura Crea, and proposals that we are trying to get financed by Invitalia. The logic is to support the creation of businesses and assist local entrepreneurs, starting from the initial project up to the moment of financing”.
The Foundation's strategy also includes the launch of a new product line under the Carditello brand.
"We have already signed a contract with the Cilento fashion house for the marketing of tailored accessories with the Persano horses logo, we have launched Caffè Carditello on the market and we are planting Asprinio and Pallagrello vines with our partners. In the coming months - concludes the director Formato - we will focus on the production of royal jelly and honey thanks to the bees of our biomonitoring station".
The program is particularly rich: Intercultura infopoint to share new projects and how to apply for scholarships for stays abroad, free breast examinations by the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer, an animated story to make children responsible and raise awareness among families on the topic of proper nutrition, a talk on childhood obesity and pony rides by the NarteA cultural association (Sunday 11 October); presentation of two investigative books by the magistrate Catello Maresca and the journalist Salvatore Minieri, a meeting with Invitalia to explore development tools for businesses, the award ceremony for the “Real Wood” ideas competition to collect proposals for the valorization of wood obtained from the felling of pine trees in Carditello – in a logic that combines the protection and safeguarding of visitors' safety with the circular economy and environmental sustainability – and the creation of games, gadgets and merchandising for the Foundation (Saturday 17 October).
