8 tons of untraceable livestock feed seized in a company in Alta Irpinia.
L'operation was conducted by the Volturara Irpina forestry carabinieri in collaboration with the inspectorate for quality protection and fraud repression and the veterinary office of the ASL of Avellino. During an inspection, the military found 24 big bags inside the feed factory not accompanied by indications of their origin.
The material, destined for destruction, included pasta for zootechnical use, corn, fava beans, oats and beet pulp. The owner of the company was fined and reported to the judicial authorities.
