Fear of contagion returns to Castellammare: 11 new cases in the last 24 hours.
“The ASL informs us that 11 more Covid cases were recorded today in Castellammare di Stabia. They are a 54-year-old, a 29-year-old, a 56-year-old, a 29-year-old, a 67-year-old, a 78-year-old, a 44-year-old, a 26-year-old, a 60-year-old, a 53-year-old and a 28-year-old, who received a positive swab result in recent days. Three of them are asymptomatic, while the others are showing feverish symptoms and are currently in home isolation with active surveillance. A 59-year-old infected man, however, underwent two consecutive swabs, both negative, and is now officially cured”. The mayor of Castellammare, Gaetano Cimmino, wrote this on his institutional Facebook page.
And then I urge fellow citizens to keep their guard up: "For several weeks now, the increase in infections has reached worrying peaks. An anomalous flow with respect to which I am in constant contact with the ASL for all the necessary assessments on the evolution of the epidemiological curve, awaiting the new Dpcm announced in the next few hours and with the reservation of evaluating any more restrictive measures. Maturity and a sense of responsibility are needed in respecting the rules, always wearing the mask correctly and avoiding crowded contexts. Together we will win this challenge. Together we will make it".
