Firefighter tests positive for covid, Telese detachment closed
Benevento. Firefighter stationed at the Telese Terme detachment in Sannio tested positive for Covid 19. The infections, exponentially increasing throughout Sannio, have unfortunately also affected the firefighters of the province of Benevento.
As soon as the positive result was known, the procedure foreseen by the protocols in these cases was triggered.
The provincial commander, architect Maria Angelina D'Agostino, therefore ordered the closure of the Valle Telesina detachment and implemented all the initiatives within her jurisdiction.
The detachment was immediately closed yesterday evening to allow for a radical sanitization of the premises and vehicles which will take place in the next few hours.
