Fake clothing seized at Capodichino: 4 reported.

The officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, together with the financial police of the Capodichino Company, during a series of checks carried out on passengers arriving from Istanbul, seized over 400 items of counterfeit clothing and accessories from numerous well-known fashion houses (Balenciaga, Dsquared2, Moschino, Givenchy, Gucci, Versace, Philipp Plein, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, Nike).
The passengers, who arrived at the airport with large suitcases and hold bags, where the counterfeit goods had been hidden, were unable to produce valid documentation proving their purchase and the authenticity of the products at the security check.

The seized material, mainly composed of t-shirts, polo shirts, jeans, jackets, footwear, bags, bum bags and shoulder bags, did not have the typical packaging of big brands to allow the subjects to transport a greater number of pieces.
Having consulted the experts of the companies owning the trademarks, they confirmed the faithful imitation of the originals, such as to deceive any potential final purchasers.

The items were seized while the authors of the crime, a total of 4 responsible, were reported to the Judicial Authority for counterfeiting and receiving stolen goods. The operation confirms the effective synergy between the Customs and Monopolies Agency and the Guardia di Finanza of Naples in the fight against illicit trafficking.
