Following AGCOM's sanctions, Windtre blocks access to paid services.
L' investigation into paid services activated without consent a few months ago triggered a process of "transparency" in the world of mobile telephony; after TIM, also WindTre has communicated to AGCOM its plan to stem VAS-related scams (value added services), that is, services that are activated automatically (sometimes just by visiting a web page, these services are automatically activated without the user realizing it) and that quickly empty the account.
The measures implemented by WindTre are almost similar to those of TIM: automatic blocking of this type of service for all WindTre, WindTre Business and Very Mobile customers.
It is hoped that these measures will be able to stop these paid services once and for all.
