The archaeological site of Pompeii and the Libero D'Orsi Archaeological Museum of Stabia at the Reggia di Quisisana reopen to the public after being closed for months.

In compliance with ministerial guidelines and until further notice, the sites will be open Monday to Friday during the usual hours (Pompeii 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with last admission at 3:30 pm; Libero D'Orsi Museum 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with last admission at 4:00 pm), with closure on Saturdays and Sundays.

In this phase of gradual reopening, access and exit for thePompei archaeological areathey will be possible from the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance.

The visit will take place along a path marked within the site and on the My Pompeii support app in order to ensure a safe visit to the site and in full compliance with the anti-Covid health provisions.

It will be possible to walk inside the Amphitheatre, access the large Palestra and the exhibition “Venustas. Grace and Beauty in Pompeii”. You can visit the Praedia of Giulia Felice and move along Via dell'Abbondanza with access to the main domus, but also cross the necropolis of Porta Nocera, the Garden of the Fugitives, reach the theatre district and the triangular Forum. From Via dell'Abbondanza, furthermore, you can reach the Forum with all its public and religious buildings, visit the external space of the Stabian Baths or go up Via Stabiana to Via del Vesuvio where you can admire the house of Leda and the Swan.

Free admission and reductions as per regulations

When purchasing online, the visitor can choose the time slot for entry, scheduled every 15 minutes for a maximum of 500 people every 15 minutes, until 13,00:13,00 pm. After 300:10 pm, entry is permitted for a maximum of XNUMX people per shift. The ticket must be shown at the entrance, directly on a smartphone/tablet (QR code) or already printed at home on paper and then kept to register it at the exit turnstile. A delay of up to XNUMX minutes compared to the time of the indicated time slot is tolerated, both for visitors and for guides. Reservations will also be possible on the same day until availability runs out

For Pompei365 card holders, the validity of the subscription will be extended for the number of days corresponding to the closure days imposed by the health emergency.

There is also a promotion of 50% on the purchase of the season ticket until February 28th. Only for the season tickets in extension, the purchase in promotion by February 28th will be valid for one year from the date of first use. The free ticket for single access, from time to time, must be requested on the website www.ticketone.it

Stabia Museum

Upon arrival, visitors will have their temperature measured using a thermoscanner. The use of a mask remains mandatory in closed and open spaces, regardless of interpersonal distance. All information relating to the safety measures for the containment of the SARS-COV 2 infection and the methods of visiting will be provided to visitors via the monitors at the entrances and on signage.

The visit will take place in full compliance with the distancing measures provided by the Technical Scientific Committee, also with the support of directional signs specifically installed by the Park. Sanitizing gel dispensers will be guaranteed at the entrance and in the toilets available to visitors.

Pompeii Arch

Visitors with mobility difficulties can follow the facilitated route “Pompei per tutti” from Piazza Anfiteatro, returning to the exit at Piazza Anfiteatro or, if necessary, use the exit at Piazza Esedra, using the Antiquarium lift.

At the entrance of Piazza Anfiteatro (until further notice) it will be possible to request a guided tour service, from 9,00 to 13,00.

Groups will be able to access according to the following indications:

  • groups of independent visitors, maximum 5 people
  • groups accompanied by tour guides, maximum 10 people (max 25 people if the group is equipped with disposable earphones/whispers)
