Assets stolen from the mafia, the campaign “Join the NCO project – New Organized Communities” begins

The campaign “Join the NCO project – New Organized Communities” has been launched, promoted by social entrepreneurs of the Nuova Cooperazione Organizzata network, Terra Felix and Comitato don Peppe Diana, who manage assets confiscated from organized crime. The goal is to enhance and support the reuse of confiscated assets by feeding the social economy network.
The needs and the reference context will be analyzed to answer the questions of cooperatives, associations and third sector organizations that manage or are about to do so, a confiscated asset. Training courses will be developed, territorial networks will be built and strengthened. The experience in the field aims to make the project idea sustainable through the Entrepreneurial Support Plans (PSI).
The New Organized Communities project, implemented with the co-financing of the European Union, National Operational Programme “Legality” 2014-2020, European Social Fund and European Regional Development Fund, supports the regeneration of territories through assets confiscated from crime. The recipients of the project are non-profit organizations, third sector entities and social enterprises in the regions: Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria.
The areas of intervention are: marketing, communication and sales, technological innovation, management, planning and development, environmental sustainability, agricultural production and transformation, marketing, responsible tourism and education, social agriculture.
