Calvizzano, runs over two elderly people and runs away: hunt for the pirate van

The hunt is on for the driver of the Purata van that hit an elderly couple in the municipality of Calvizzano this afternoon.

The accident occurred around 13.30:80 p.m. on Viale della Resistenza. The couple, aged 72 and XNUMX, were crossing the street when the van came along, hit them and then fled. The two were transported to the S. Maria delle Grazie Hospital in red code.

However, according to the doctors, they are not in danger of life. The investigations are being conducted by the Carabinieri of the Marano Company, who are looking for the van driver. The investigators are looking for witnesses but are especially examining the footage from public and private cameras in the area to be able to trace the van's license plate and therefore trace the hit-and-run driver.
