The intensive care unit at the Covid hospital in Boscotrecase does not close.
The announcement was made by the management of the ASL Napoli 3 Sud, which in a note denied the news that has been circulating in these hours. "Some units - the health company explains - have left the hospital because they won the competition at the Naples polyclinic. The management, to deal with the shortage of specialists, is currently finalizing an agreement with anesthetists from the ASL Napoli 2 Nord under self-contracting who will guarantee the necessary hours".
"At the same time, management has asked for the support of all resources present in the company to stem the temporary critical issues that emerged in the intensive care unit of the Covid hospital in Boscotrecase due to the shortage of anesthetists, with the aim of maintaining the current level of services unchanged". Meanwhile, the competition for the hiring of fifteen anesthetists for the Covid hospital in Boscotrecase and the other hospital facilities of Napoli 26 Sud will end on February 3.
