This morning, at 9.45:XNUMX, the technical table convened in the Sala della Lupa in Palazzo Montecitorio and composed of representatives of the parliamentary groups began its work. The aim is to find an agreement between all the political forces that will support the majority and discuss the contents that will characterize the political program to be shared, with the aim of forming an executive that can guarantee the necessary political stability, until the end of the legislature.
After about three hours of debate, the summit was suspended at 13pm, in view of the PD political committee convened by Secretary Zingaretti, with a consequent resumption of work at 14.15pm and currently still in progress.
Attention is focused on the statements made by Senator Matteo Renzi, who during this morning's session, declared on his enews: "At the end of this week we will have a new government. It must be a worthy executive, made up of capable and deserving people. Only in this way can Italy be saved."
Italia Viva president Ettore Rosato stated: "We'll find a solution to the names. There are other concerns: the economic, health, and education crises."
Despite the constant work to find a program agreement, doubts remain over the identification of the person in charge of leading the new Executive. In this regard, Renzi commented: "first the program, then the name of the Prime Minister".
Although the intention of a possible step back on the ESM by the leader of Italia Viva has leaked, there are fears that the efforts made so far could be made in vain following a possible veto on Conte's name.
