Giugliano. They were caught after the robberies while playing video slots.
The Carabinieri of the Giugliano Operations Section and the Qualiano Station have arrested for complicity in aggravated and continued robbery in Frascogna Tommaso, 36 years old from Giugliano and Palma Gennaro, 44 years old from Villaricca, both known to the police.
The two men were responsible for two robberies, committed yesterday morning, to the detriment of two fuel distributors, located respectively in the municipalities of Villaricca and Qualiano, both carried out by simulating the possession of a weapon, which in reality they did not have, and by having the operators at the pumps hand over a total of approximately 800 euros and an iPhone 6 cell phone.
The military, thanks to an immediate and complex information-investigative activity, managed to identify the car, a black Fiat 500 Abarth, with a counterfeit license plate, used by the robbers during the two criminal events, which, shortly after, was found parked in front of a bar in Villaricca where the two subjects were immediately stopped while they were playing the electronic slot machines.
Part of the stolen goods was recovered and returned to the rightful owners, while the two robbers were transferred to the Naples Poggioreale prison awaiting trial.
