Naples. Thousands of doses of drugs, but also thefts: after two years of investigations, 55 arrests were made between the province of Naples and other Italian regions, 70 people were investigated.
Drug dealing activity organized through unsuspecting and minor 'riders', hundreds of deliveries throughout the province of Naples: the Parco Verde Camorra does not stop even in the year of the pandemic.
As part of the investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples North, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples have executed, in various areas of the national territory, a precautionary order issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples North against fifty-five people accused, on various counts, of possession and supply of narcotics, weapons, burglaries, robberies and procuring the escape of a person detained at his own home.
The investigations, also carried out through telephone and environmental interceptions, and through checks on the territory that resulted in seizures of narcotics and arrests in flagrante delicto, were conducted, in a time frame between March and July 2018, by military personnel serving at the Operations Section of the Carabinieri Company of Casoria. The investigations allowed to ascertain hundreds of drug sales, especially in the area of the "Parco Verde" of Caivano, through telephone appointments between pushers and users.
The drugs were then entrusted to people with no criminal record, young people or minors, for delivery to agreed points. The group also took care to entrust the drug 'riders' with small quantities of the narcotic substance to avoid exposing them to arrest or charges. The investigating judge ordered the prison of 24 people and house arrest for another sixteen individuals, another 15 suspects were then subjected to the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the judicial police.
