lemurs, alias Vittorio Centron is a visionary singer-songwriter, an all-round artist.
After reaching the top of the European charts in 2004 (he is the male voice of the song "Dragostea Din Tea", do you remember it?), he created his imaginary alter ego, lemurs the Visionary, which later became a comic and a rock opera thanks to the pencil of Giulio De Vita.
Thus begins the story of his album of unreleased songs (the second after a debut way back in 2003), “Viaggio al centro di un cuore Blu” to be released on April 9, 2021 and preceded by the single “Niente da dire” (in digital stores from February 23 and on the radio from Friday, February 26) on the Vrec / Audioglobe distribution label. An authorial piece, between Fossati and Gaber, with a monumental arrangement, «which tells of the incommunicability of emotions that simply need to be experienced. Life needs to be observed with eyes full of wonder and amazement» – says the artist.
The video was shot in Budapest, where the artist lives, and it is the perfect setting, thanks to the decadent beauty of its buildings and bridges, to tell the inexorable flow of life narrated in the song.
Vittorio Centrone, from Pordenone, former member of the rock group Futuritmi (original group of Davide Toffolo and Gianmaria Accusani), made his debut as a soloist in 2003 with the album “Il porto dei Santi”. He also worked as an author, writing the piece “Chi sei non lo so” sung by Verdiana at the 2003 Sanremo Festival.
In 2004 he was the male voice in the Haiducii project with the hit “Dragostea Din Tea” with over a million copies sold in Europe. In 2010 he created his alter ego Lemuri il Visionario which thanks to the cartoonist Giulio De Vita became a book and a rock opera performed in Italy, the United States, Canada and France. From this work came to life the songs included in his discographic comeback “Viaggio al centro di un cuore blu” scheduled for spring 2021.
