A 51-year-old man, already known to the police, was arrested this morning in Bagnoli, in the western suburbs of Naples.
The Carabinieri of the Naples-Bagnoli station have executed a custodial order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, as the 51-year-old is thought to be responsible for the crime of mistreatment in the family.
The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri and coordinated by the fourth section "gender violence and protection of the weaker sections of the population" of the Naples prosecutor's office, allowed to ascertain how the same, on several occasions, had physically attacked and threatened to kill his wife, because he was convinced that the woman was having extramarital affairs. The man was taken to the Poggioreale prison.
