Naples. Emmanuele D'Ercole, a 36-year-old local man already known to the police, was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Scampia station.
During a house search in “Parco Gioia” the military discovered, in a small room created between the walls of the house, a homemade greenhouse intended for the production of marijuana.
Complete with an irrigation, air conditioning and ventilation system, the “do-it-yourself” system housed 30 cannabis plants of approximately 60 cm, 2 bags containing already dried marijuana, 335 euros in cash believed to be illicit proceeds and various packaging materials.
D'Ercole was placed under house arrest pending trial. He will have to answer for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and cultivation of narcotic substances.
