The orange zone has not stopped the gatherings and the nightlife of young people in Naples.
Every evening the historic center of the city continues to dangerously fill up with young people who meet to toast, celebrate and party. As shown in a video sent by a citizen to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, on the evening of February 24, Largo San Giovanni Maggiore, or Piazzetta Orientale or also Largo Giusso, as it is called, appears dangerously crowded with people despite the covid emergency.
"Campania has become an orange zone precisely because of those who did not want, and continue not to want, to respect the rules, who just can't give up partying, participating in mega gatherings and continuing to do what they did before, not caring about the health emergency. We shouldn't be surprised then if we then become a red zone, infections show no signs of stopping, hospitals are filling up. We want to appeal to the sense of responsibility of the citizens, even to that part that until now has highly ignored the rules, now there is a need for seriousness and cohesion before the situation degenerates further. In addition to this, however, an increase in police checks is essential, especially in the areas most frequented by young people, we can no longer be permissive and tolerant." - declared Councilor Borrelli.
