Yet another violent robbery in Naples after the one that took place in Corso Garibaldi, where a man was beaten bloody with the butt of a gun in front of his own son, reported by the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
The episode occurred last February 4th around 21,30:30 pm near via Poggioreale in Naples and was reported by the victim to Councilor Borrelli: "I was near the Poggioreale prison when some individuals, around 10 years old, approached me to rob me using unheard of violence. They kicked and punched me to take away my smartphone and a pair of headphones. They broke my jaw and my teeth are moving and I can't eat or speak. On February XNUMXth I will have to undergo an operation. I filed a complaint and I hope that thanks to the surveillance cameras those scoundrels can be caught."

"But what are our cities and our society becoming? The streets are now at the mercy of unscrupulous violent criminals who, just to scrape together even a few pennies, have no qualms about beating people to a pulp, even risking their lives, or resorting to extremely violent acts in front of children, as occurred in the robbery on Corso Garibaldi that we reported. It is absolutely clear that, as we have been requesting for some time, there is a need for intensified police patrols on the streets and very harsh penalties for criminals. But it is equally crucial to eradicate the mentality that tolerates, protects, and glorifies crime, the same mentality that has led to the creation of murals and shrines dedicated to criminals, Camorristi, and robbers, creating a disturbing social and political consensus in favor of criminals. If there is no change of direction, then the city will be left in the hands of crime," declared Councilor Borrelli and La Radiazza radio host Gianni Simioli.
