He loses diamonds worth 50 thousand euros, the hunt begins in Naples but, for now, the owner has not yet shown up to get them back
He loses 50 thousand euros in diamonds and in Naples a 'manhunt' begins to return them. The precious stones – as reported by Il Mattino – were lost inside a supermarket in the city.
One of the facility's employees found them and returned them to the supermarket owner who has so far waited in vain for the return of the rightful owner. The surveillance cameras captured the incident: the man can be seen entering and a bag already hanging from his pocket. The man then heads to the cash register and doesn't realize he's lost the bag. Then he pays and leaves. In total, he remained inside the store for ten minutes.
According to what was reported to Il Mattino by the lawyer of the supermarket that has custody of the valuables, the Municipality of Naples, where there is an office for lost property, would have explained that they do not have a safe to store such a precious good that has therefore remained for the moment in the hands of the lawyer. Hence the idea of launching the appeal, through the newspaper to track down the man. There are three diamonds, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and purity.
