Garbage workers strike revoked in the municipalities of Afragola, Gragnano, Ercolano, Nola and San Giorgio
IIn agreement with the trade unions, the strike initially scheduled for February 25, 2021 in the cities of Afragola, Gragnano, Ercolano, Nola, San Giorgio a Cremano has been revoked. Buttol Srl thanks the social partners for having undertaken a new shared path, based on the policies of rigor and respect for the rules, carried out by the Company without any hesitation.
The new management of Buttol Srl, with the general manager Avv. Gerardo Calabrese, the engineer Francesco Iacotucci and Dr. Luca Di Monte at the forefront, coordinated by the president of the Board of Directors Gen. Franco Mottola, has undertaken a new path in union relations in the wake of legality already traced.
In addition to the various operational and workplace safety aspects, zero tolerance has been declared towards employees deemed "unfaithful" who damage the image not only of the company but also of the entire category.
The situation is different for Torre del Greco, whose employees have not called off the strike for reasons related to the additional and not contractually due remuneration. To avoid the 24 hours of abstention from work, the workers are asking for more bonuses and the revocation of the latest dismissals for just cause. On this front, Buttol will not retreat an inch: those who commit crimes and cause damage to the Company and the Municipality to which they belong will not receive discounts.
