A 45-year-old Palermo resident in Eboli who created havoc inside the Judicial Citadel of Salerno this morning ended up in prison on charges of resisting a public official and contempt of a magistrate in court.
L'man, during a hearing presided over by GOT Cesarina Anzalone and in which his partner was the defendant, went into a rage. At first he began to rant loudly against the magistrate, in his opinion declaring him under arrest for procedural fraud. The animosity and the outbursts of the 45-year-old made it necessary for the carabinieri of the Tribunal Unit to intervene, who repeatedly ordered him to stop the insulting conduct towards the magistrate in the hearing. But the man continued, claiming to be a public official and asking the military to fill out an arrest report against the judge. At that point the carabinieri tried to take him out of the courtroom but the man forcefully resisted, pushing the military and forcing them to use handcuffs to contain him.
Despite this, he caused a carabiniere a distraction trauma to the right rotator cuff, with a prognosis deemed curable in 15 days. The 45-year-old continued to rail against the military, calling them "mafiosi subservient to power" and demanding to arrest them too. Therefore, the man, considered responsible for resisting a public official and contempt of a magistrate in court, was arrested and, by order of the prosecutor Roberto Penna, was transferred to the Salerno prison.
