Scafati enters the red zone from tomorrow 25 February 2021 until 8 March (included) 2021.
A new mayoral ordinance lists the implementing measures in the Scafati area for the prevention and management of the Covid-19 epidemiological emergency
A note from Mayor Salvati communicates that the latest data relating to the exponential increase in cases of Covid-19 contagion, sent by the Regional Crisis Unit, have dramatically increased: in the last 7 days the percentage of positive cases in the city of Scafati is equal to 16,20% compared to 8,8% in the Campania Region with an incidence of new positives in 7 days per one hundred thousand residents equal to 485,42 compared to 161,16 in the Campania Region.
The note anticipates the mayoral ordinance number 12 of 24 February 2021 which, considering the data, places the city of Scafati in the so-called "red zone".
The measures that this area provides are valid starting from tomorrow, February 25, 2021 until March 8. The measures ordered are the following:
- closure to the public of the urban waste collection centre – ACSE spa – in via Diaz;
- suspension of the weekly market;
- closure to the public of all municipal offices with the exception of the Protocol Office, Registry Office and Civil Status, the Municipal Police Headquarters and the offices located at the cemetery;
- ban on gatherings in all public spaces such as streets, squares, etc.;
- prohibition on movement within the territory except for strictly necessary reasons such as work, study, or proven health reasons. Movement within the municipal territory must in any case be carried out by means of a self-certification;
- closure of nurseries, playrooms and centres for minors;
- closure of commercial activities, except pharmacies and parapharmacies, starting from 19.00 pm until 6.00 am the following day;
- it is forbidden to consume food and drinks on the street;
- closure of automatic beverage distribution systems in the Scafati area from 18.00:6.00 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. the following day.
