Torre del Greco. He asked for money every week and did the shopping without paying in a well-known grocery store: 44-year-old arrested.
This morning, State Police officers from the Torre del Greco Public Safety Police Station, in execution of two precautionary orders applying the measure of precautionary custody in prison issued by the GIP of the Torre Annunziata Court upon request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, proceeded with the arrest of FF, aged 44, from Torre del Greco, as he is seriously suspected of the crimes of continued extortion against the owner of a well-known commercial establishment in Torre del Greco and mistreatment of his ex-partner.
The investigations of the investigative team of the Public Safety Commissioner of Torre del Greco, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, started following the complaint filed by the owner of the commercial establishment, allowed to ascertain that the man arrested for about a year had been making extortionate demands against the woman, threatening her on several occasions also by showing up at her commercial establishment.
As a result of such conduct, the woman was forced, on the one hand, to pay the suspect every week sums of money ranging from 50 to 200 euros at a time, and on the other hand to tolerate that the suspect, on a daily basis, took food products without paying. During the investigation, further elements emerged, confirmed with subsequent in-depth analyses, which allowed us to ascertain that FF, at least in the last three years, had repeatedly carried out harassing and violent conduct of particular gravity to the detriment of his partner, even in the presence of the latter's minor children.
