There is still a lot of uncertainty about the summer season, but travel remains at the top of our wishlist and – also thanks to the spread of vaccines which gives hope for a less restrictive summer – the desire to plan our trips now holidays 2021 grows more and more every day. However, a doubt remains: where can we go safely? Which will be the most popular destinations and which ones will be at the top of Italians' wishes?
Secondo TRAVEL & SPA, a travel and wellness magazine specializing in telling dream experiences, 2021 will be a year of relative recovery for the tourism sector: on the one hand, the phenomenon of “revenge travel” will fuel an ever-increasing demand after a period of stagnation, on the other hand the growing need for security will almost certainly lead to the creation of “Covid-free” areas and probably also health passports.
This will require a choice of destinations and a careful evaluation of the protocols. At present it is still very difficult to draw up a list of places where it will be possible to spend the summer holidays, but we can already have some indications on the top destinations for 2021.

Domestic tourism also benefits from greater ease of travel and a health situation that is overall good compared to many other European and non-European countries.

The most important cities remain in the foreground, among which Milan, Rome, Naples and Bari stand out, but also other magical places in which to experience, as TRAVEL & SPA suggests, the thrill of a night as a King in a real castle.
