'Action day' in the “Land of Fires”: 3 companies seized
Maxi inter-force operation in the municipalities of Teverola and Naples aimed at combating environmental crimes and carried out on the orders of the person in charge of combating the phenomenon of fires in the Campania region within the control room "Terra dei Fuochi".
The action day involved 30 teams of law enforcement and Army forces who checked small businesses and sites where waste is usually abandoned.
At the end of the checks, three companies were seized for illegal waste management, and three people were reported for using illegal labor; small illegal landfills were also seized and fines of over 17 thousand euros were imposed.
