2 More Criminal Murals Removed in Naples Province

Due murals dedicated to members of organised crime, killed in ambushes, were removed this morning in Cercola and Frattamaggiore, in the Neapolitan area on the initiative of the Prefecture.

A cercola, in via Giotto, the municipal administration, with the presence of the police, has erased a mural dedicated to Luigi Bevar, killed on 27 January 2003 in a Camorra ambush.

A frattamaggiore, in Via Regina Margherita a mural dedicated to Vincenzo Pellino, killed on February 16, 2020 in another Camorra ambush, has been removed. The program of interventions was started by the technical table organized by decision of the Committee for Public Order and Safety of the metropolitan area on March 4 and - according to what the Prefecture of NAPLES has announced - will continue in the coming weeks
