Aversa – Caught attempting to smuggle drugs into prison by throwing packages over the wall, a man was stopped and arrested in Aversa by the Penitentiary Police. The operation began near the inmate walking areas. During the operation, officers seized approximately 500 grams of hashish. After the usual formalities, the man was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison and held there. The USPP (Prison for the Prevention of Illegal Drugs) announced the incident.
