Bagnoli: Fuel thefts on buses: the alleged perpetrator identified
On Thursday afternoon, officers from the Bagnoli Police Station executed a precautionary custody order issued on February 26 by the GIP of the Court of Naples, which ordered house arrest for SN, a 45-year-old from Monte di Procida, as he is seriously suspected of aggravated theft, and the obligation to report to the police for VG, a 55-year-old from Giugliano, and FR, a 63-year-old from Naples with a criminal record, as they are seriously suspected of fraud.
The precautionary measure is the result of the activity of the investigative team of the Bagnoli Police Station, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, conducted following the complaint, by a public transport company, of the theft of significant quantities of fuel from some buses.
The police, through video footage, collected evidence against an employee in relation to the thefts; at the same time, they also documented a different illicit activity of two other employees, one of whom used his colleague's badge to falsely certify his presence at the workplace.
