In Battipaglia, a pub was fined for serving alcoholic beverages in glass bottles during the evening, well after 18 pm, to over twenty customers present.
For this reason, the commercial activity was sanctioned with the accessory measure of closure for five days, while the twenty-two people who were in the premises were identified and sanctioned, recipients of as many individual sanctions. This is what emerges from the outcome of the anti-Covid checks ordered by the police commissioner of Salerno, Maurizio Ficarra. The services carried out by the police, carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, army, municipal and provincial police, during the past week, led to the checks of 8 people, of whom 232 were sanctioned for failure to use a mask, of 247 vehicles and of 5 public establishments. The sanctions were triggered for 347 owners of public establishments, of which in four cases also with the closure of the premises.
INTER-FORCE CONTROLS IN SALERNO AND PROVINCE
The services were, as always, arranged with the Order of the Police Commissioner of the province of Salerno, in perfect agreement with the Provincial Commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza and with the important contribution of the Italian Army and with the Municipal Police of Salerno, with the Provincial Police and with the local police forces of the Municipalities of the province of Salerno.
The intervention plan allowed us to achieve the following operational results in the week from March 1st to March 7th:
· nr. 8232 people checked;
· nr.5347 vehicles checked;
· nr. 2203 public establishments inspected;
· nr. 247 people fined for failure to wear a mask;
· n. 23 owners of commercial establishments sanctioned for failure to comply with anti-covid regulations, of which n.4 with the additional sanction of closure.
