Modena. Eight-month-old baby dies at home: Carabinieri investigate.
He may have hit his head falling from the bed, as his parents said, the little boy who lost his life in the late afternoon. The child was at home with his parents and siblings.
The Carabinieri of the Vignola branch intervened in the evening following a report from 118 and the Municipal Police in an apartment in the town, following the death of an eight-month-old baby from a family of Maghreb origins.
118 personnel intervened on the spot and, despite the rescue, had to confirm the death of the child. The Carabinieri are carrying out investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Modena, to reconstruct the dynamics of the event: at the moment it seems to be an accidental cause. The military have listened to the parents, it seems that the child hit his head violently when he fell from the bed. The investigations carried out up to now, therefore, lead to the belief that it was a fatality.
