2 people reported for the so-called “mirror scam”: a 43-year-old from the Pendino neighborhood of Naples and a 24-year-old from Secondigliano. Shortly before, they had attempted to scam a 39-year-old motorist, making her believe she had damaged the mirror of their car with a risky maneuver. They then asked her - to avoid involving the insurance companies - 250 euros in compensation. The woman did not believe a word and alerted one of the many patrols in the area. Tracked down and identified thanks to the promptness of the woman, who wrote down the license plate number, the two will have to answer for attempted aggravated fraud.
The person reported for driving without a license is 29 years old. He was stopped in Corso Umberto on board a high-powered scooter despite not having any license that authorized him to drive.
Instead, the 14-year-old stopped in Via Bosco Catene on board a scooter with a counterfeit chassis number will have to answer for receiving stolen goods. The vehicle was seized, the minor was entrusted to his parents.
