Air Force flight from Naples to Linate for man in mortal danger.

In the early hours of Sunday 14 March, a 61-year-old man was rushed from Naples airport to Linate airport, aboard a Falcon 900 aircraft belonging to the 31st Wing of Ciampino.

The transport request, as expected in these cases, was sent by the Prefecture of Caserta to the Situation Room of the Air Squad Command, the operations room of theair Force whose tasks include arranging and managing this type of mission by activating one of the aircraft that the Armed Forces keeps ready 24 hours a day, at various bases, for this type of need.

After landing at Linate Airport around 02:00 a.m. after just over an hour of flight, the man was quickly transferred by ambulance to the San Matteo Hospital in Pavia. These types of missions, a statement states, require maximum speed. The Italian Air Force's flight departments are available to the community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with assets and crews capable of operating, even in difficult weather conditions, to ensure the urgent transport not only of people in imminent danger of life, but also of organs, medical teams, or ambulances.
