The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples continue to monitor the territory. Yesterday evening alone, the soldiers of the Naples center company sanctioned 47 people for violations of the anti-contagion regulations.
The penalties
Among these 3 people caught inside a bar in Via Gradoni di Chiaia sipping a complete aperitif at the table. The owner, in addition to the fine, was reported for illegally exercising gambling and betting activities.
Inside the premises, which was then closed for 5 days, bets were being placed on football matches, despite there being no authorisation.
Two people were reported – one of them a minor – for illegal possession of weapons. The minor, a 17-year-old from Miano, was found in possession of a metal knuckleduster. Finally, four people were reported to the Prefecture for personal drug use.
The checks will continue in the coming days, with ever greater intensity.
