THE ROLE OF LIBERATO PATURZO coco'
Several extortions carried out by the D'ALESSANDRO clan have been documented in its widespread control of the territory, making use of the armed wing constituted by LONGOBARDI Antonio alias “Ciccillo” and BARBA Carmine, who also turned out to be the custodians of the clan's arsenal which was not kept in a single place of custody but divided into different points and known only to them to evade seizures. Another aspect that emerged from the investigations is the use of a building contractor, PATURZO Liberato, known as cocò, dedicated to satisfying the interests of the clan through a series of services such as participation in public tenders, information on the awarding of public auctions, reports of entrepreneurs to approach for the imposition of the racket. The proceeds of the extortions were reinvested in the usury business which multiplied the income.
SEIZURE OF GOODS

The results of the further investigative activity allowed the GIP at the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Naples, to issue a preventive seizure order relating to movable assets (no. 6 motor vehicles and no. 2 motorcycles), real estate (no. 2 apartments), financial relationships (no. 11 including current accounts, savings books, securities deposits, credit cards), businesses (no. 3 in the catering, construction and food and beverage supply sectors) and company shares (no. 2 company shares relating to construction companies), for a total estimated value of €6.000.000,00
