The funeral of Baldassarre Nero, the commander of the Carabinieri station of Macerata Campania, took place this morning outside the Marcianise cemetery.

Lieutenant Nero, commander of the Carabinieri station in Macerata Campania, died at the Cotugno hospital in Naples at just 49 years old due to complications caused by Covid-19. “The government and the entire country rally around the Carabinieri for the loss of the soldier who died after fighting this terrible battle. A life spent in the Carabinieri, for his work that he carried out with dedication and a spirit of service, always at the service of citizens. The precious contribution of men like Lieutenant Nero represents an example of which we can be very proud,” concluded Guerini.
