A recorded voice will provide all the instructions to follow and the person directly concerned can leave a message that Confcommercio will send promptly to the Prefecture. But that's not all. Victims will also have access to an accompaniment path that will guarantee the benefits provided for by national and local legislation.
"Usury, racketeering, extortion and all those crimes that often remain hidden - declared the provincial president of Confcommercio Caserta, Lucio Sindaco - represent a real social plague. A rampant phenomenon. Today more than ever. Complicit in the economic and health emergency that has brought so many businesses to their knees. With this help desk, thanks to the support and collaboration of the Prefecture, we intend to offer concrete support to many local businesses so that they can free themselves from this criminal yoke responsible for so many bankruptcies and at the same time we want to contribute to making the State's fight against racketeering and usury more effective".
An aid strategy that the parties involved began working on at the end of 2020 when they signed a memorandum of understanding for the legality and security of the business fabric. A document of great importance - whose importance is even more significant in this period of pandemic - which also provides for the adoption of joint initiatives on the topic of prevention and combating the infiltration of organized crime as well as any criminal phenomenon that could in some way limit the freedom of businesses. In fact, the protocol also includes the organization of meetings and training seminars to spread the culture of legality and raise awareness among businesses on the behavior to adopt in the event of attempted robberies, extortion and more.
