The Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata Company, together with those of the Campania Regiment, carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in San Giuseppe Vesuviano and in the neighboring municipalities.
In via Aielli, a 22-year-old was reported for resisting a public official. The boy, driving a car that later turned out to be uninsured, did not respect the stop command imposed by the military and fled. He was then caught after a short chase after hitting a retaining wall. During the activities, 20 people were fined for failure to comply with the highway code.
Two vehicles were seized, 3 registration documents and a driving licence were withdrawn. 27 fines were then issued to people who did not respect the ban on moving between municipalities without reasons of necessity and urgency, or who did not observe the ban on driving after 22 pm. Five vehicle searches were carried out and 8 personal searches were carried out; 123 people were identified and 86 vehicles were checked.
