Checks, seizures and reports by the Carabinieri in Scampia and Brusciano

The Carabinieri of the Naples Mobile Radio Unit, with the collaboration of the Municipal Police, have removed 16 abandoned vehicles parked in Via Fava and Via della Resistenza, in the neighbourhood of Scampia. The vehicles were transferred to a judicial depository and will be subject to administrative investigations.

A “High Impact” service has been underway in the city for a few hours. Maximum attention by the Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna Company to the squares and streets considered most sensitive. Dozens of soldiers, also supported by units of the Sarno Dog Unit, are employed in searches and checkpoints. 17 people have already been checked, 9 vehicles. The checks will continue for many hours.
