Covid in Campania: percentage still above 10%

Almost two weeks after the red zone came into force, the spread of Covid in Campania remains at the high levels of the last period.

2.196 new coronavirus cases have emerged in the last 24 hours in Campania, based on the analysis of 20.921 molecular swabs. The incidence rate is 10,49%, essentially stable compared to yesterday's 10,84%. Of the 2.196 new positive cases, 648 were symptomatic. Yesterday, Campania 1.169 antigen swabs were also performed.

There are 28 new deaths included in today's bulletin by the Campania Region Crisis Unit; of these, 16 occurred in the last 48 hours and 12 occurred previously, but recorded yesterday. The total number of deaths in Campania since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic is 4.871. There are 1.611 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 211.416. In Campania, there are 161 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care, 1.575 in inpatient wards.
