There have been 20.396 new COVID-190 cases in Italy in the last 24 hours. This is up from yesterday's 15.267, but with approximately 500 more tests performed, 369.375. The positivity rate has dropped sharply from 8,53% to 5,5%. Deaths have risen sharply, to 502 (364 yesterday): the highest number since January 26th (541).
The total number of victims is 103.001. And the sharp increase in hospitalizations continues: there are 99 more intensive care units (yesterday +75), with 319 daily admissions, never so many since this data was communicated. The Region with the most daily cases is Lombardy (+4.235), followed by Campania (+2.656), Emilia Romagna (+2.184), Piedmont (+2.074) and Veneto (+1.901).
