There have been 3.002.580 Covid cases in Italy since the beginning of the pandemic. This is what emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
This number is reached with the 20.765 positive tests for covid in the last 24 hours in Italy. Yesterday there were 23.641 infections. There were 207 victims in one day, according to data from the Ministry of Health, for a total of 99.785. The positivity rate is 7,6%, up one point compared to yesterday's 6,6%.

There are 2.605 patients in intensive care for Covid in Italy, 34 more than yesterday in the daily balance between admissions and discharges. Daily admissions to intensive care, according to data from the Ministry of Health, are 161 (yesterday they were 214). In ordinary wards there are instead 21.144 people, an increase of 443 units compared to yesterday. Those recovered and discharged since the beginning of the emergency are instead 2.494.839, with an increase of 13.467 in the last 24 hours.
The region with the highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours is Lombardy (4.397), followed by Emilia-Romagna (3.056), Campania (2.560), Piedmont (1.543) and Lazio (1.399).
