Covid, the increase in hospitalizations in Campania is worrying

Hospitalizations of Covid patients on the rise in Campania.

There are 173 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in intensive care, 12 more than the figure released yesterday in the Regional Crisis Unit bulletin. The number of inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients is 1.613, an increase of 38 compared to yesterday. In Campania, 656 intensive care beds are available regionally, and 3.160 inpatient beds are available, including COVID-19 beds and private hospital beds.

However, the contagion curve remains stable. According to data from the Crisis Unit of the Campania region, in the last 24 hours there have been 1.810 positives out of 16.812 molecular swabs examined.

Yesterday the incidence rate was 10,49%, today it is 10,76%. The death toll is decreasing, yesterday 28 and today 26, while the number of recovered people is increasing from 1611 yesterday to 2003 today.

With regard to the report on hospital beds on a regional basis, both the occupancy of intensive care beds has increased, going from 161 occupied beds yesterday to 173 today, and that of hospitalization with 1613 occupied beds compared to 1575 yesterday.
