Regional Directorate of Museums Campania, together for the care of the greenery in Villa Floridiana: a participatory process with associations and communities
The Campania Regional Museums Directorate, in collaboration with the Premio GreenCare Aps Association, is organizing a maintenance and care action for the Boschetto delle Camelie on Saturday 6 March from 9.00:13.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX in Villa Floridiana in Naples.

Agronomists and art gardeners, experts in historic gardens and volunteers will be involved and, in their strictly open-air work, they will scrupulously follow the Covid-19 containment procedures, respecting the obligation to wear a mask and physical distancing. The pruning and safety work of the precious Boschetto, which has been in the Villa since 1830, will be carried out by professionals from the various "green disciplines" and by the Euphorbia srl team, made available by the Greencare Award, while the leaf and grass cuttings collection operations will be carried out by volunteers.
The Regional Director of Campania Museums, Marta Ragozzino, and the President of Premio GreenCare Aps, Benedetta de Falco, will participate, and on this occasion new vegetation will be planted in the vases at the entrance of via Cimarosa, donated by Premio GreenCare Aps and entrusted to the care of the security staff of Villa Floridiana.
Addolorata Ines Peduto, former technical biologist of the English Garden of the Royal Palace of Caserta, expert in camellias and president of GreenCare Caserta, will hold a lesson on the botanical specificities of the camellia for the occasion.
