Eboli, brothers with no criminal record caught with drugs at home: arrested
The police of Battipaglia, in an anti-drug operation, arrested two fratelli unconvicted from Eboli, GR, 19 years old, and AR, 21 years old. It was the twenty-one year old with his behavior on the street that attracted the attention of the officers; in an attempt to avoid the house search, he and his brother tried to escape from the back exit carrying a nylon backpack, then throwing it into an adjacent farmland.
Certain that they had not been seen, the two, also strengthened by the presence of a dog guarding their property, did not realize that their behavior had been noticed. The bag, in fact, was recovered and, once opened, revealed its contents: 900 grams of hashish, 40 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of marijuana and a perfectly functioning precision digital scale.
A large sum of money was seized. The two must answer for possession of narcotics, in competition, and are in the Salerno-Fuorni prison, awaiting validation of the arrest.
