For this reason, a 17-year-old boy was arrested and taken to a community center, at the request of the prosecutor. Specifically, the judicial order was executed by the Postal Police. The young man is charged with the crime set forth in Article 612-ter of the Criminal Code, which concerns sexual abuse based on the dissemination of intimate images without the consent of the person depicted, known as "revenge porn." The 17-year-old, it is explained, with the clear intent of humiliating and shaming his thirteen-year-old ex-girlfriend, posted posters depicting her in an intimate pose on several streets across the town.
The shot was then completed with a caption relating to an offer of paid sexual services. The investigators also seized child pornography material during the house and computer search carried out in the suspect's home.

In addition to the possible danger of subsequent illicit use, often with the aim of retaliation or revenge, by those who receive the images, there is also a problem related to the security of the devices. In fact, malicious third parties can abusively access one of the devices, acquiring the content to disclose it or to blackmail the victim.
In any case, it remains extremely important to immediately report what has happened to the Police, since only timely intervention can prevent further dissemination of the photos or video. Precisely to ensure effective intervention, within the Postal Police there are teams of police officers specialized in combating these phenomena, experts especially in the field of social networking and messaging platforms.
