Caserta. A Covid outbreak has broken out in a well-known health facility on the outskirts of the capital.
Currently, there are at least 18 positive cases found within the specialist center that also houses the residence for the elderly.
Yesterday – thanks to the support of the 118 ambulances – several transfers were arranged: some were accompanied home for home treatment, those with the most serious symptoms typical of Coronavirus were instead transferred to the two hospitals currently exclusively dedicated to treating the virus, the Melorio of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and the Covid Hospital of Maddaloni.

The elderly are now constantly monitored by doctors and in the meantime the premises of the RSA have been sanitized and any contacts are being traced.
