“Even on the last Saturday in the orange zone there were gatherings and rules were broken”.
This is what the Green regional councilor Francesco Borrelli emphasizes. “In Frattamaggiore – he explains – as reported to us by some citizens, late in the evening and well after 22 pm, the streets were in chaos. Hundreds of kids out and about, zero distancing and almost all without masks. Many alerted the police and, when the police arrived, there was a general stampede of kids scared of the possibility of getting a fine. What worries and terrifies them more is a fine than a deadly virus. Why were they out on the streets at that time, why don't their parents ask where they are well beyond the permitted time?”.
"And we have also received reports from Naples - adds Borrelli - with gatherings and people on the streets in the Spanish Quarters, Piazza del Gesu' and Piazza Orientale. Even in these cases, no distancing and very few masks. From Monday we will be a red zone because of these gatherings, this collective madness. An arrogance that risks paralyzing our economy again and that has led to a dangerous surge in infections. Now, with the new restrictions, we will need to change course, we will need a serious assumption of responsibility, or it will be the end".
