“E vissero ferita e contenti” is out today, Ghemon’s new recording project available on all digital platforms, in CD and vinyl format.

The album, an Artist First/Carosello Records project, marks the beginning of a new phase in the artist's musical journey, expressing her desire to live life to the fullest and embrace all its facets. The album also features "Momento Perfetto," the song with which the artist participated in the 71st edition of the Sanremo Music Festival in the CAMPIONI category.

The title

“E vissero ferita e contenti” is a photograph, that of someone who tries to go through their life path in every step, to experience not only the positive aspects and victories but also all the falls and stumbles. Every fragment of this path has led to being what you are today. Life is like a cat, which is the protagonist of the album cover together with Ghemon: it knows how to scratch but also gives moments of sweetness.

The album

Written and produced between studio, remote recordings and virtual meetings, Ghemon was involved in every aspect, from composition to production, from arrangement to choir selection. The result is a group effort, composed of a team of musicians and producers who accompanied him in the creative process: Simone Privitera, Claudio La Rocca, Fabio Brignone and Giuseppe Seccia.

Ghemon's latest recording project, "Scritto nelle stelle", released on April 24, 2020, debuted at #2 on the FIMI best-selling albums chart and at #1 on the vinyl chart. On November 6, 2020, the single "Inguaribile e romantica" was released from the album, revisited in the form of a duet together with Malika Ayane.

Ghemon

One of the most talented and appreciated Italian hip hop artists. Over the years he has been able to renew his very personal style halfway between songwriting and rap: an almost unique case within the Italian scene. After the release of his first three albums, he began to define his musical territory: rap mixed with soul, funk, jazz and Italian music. “ORCHIdee” (2014) marks his artistic maturation. “Mezzanotte” (2017 album) is the consecration of something unique, where black influences are linked to Italian music, also managing to find a space for the Hip Hop tradition. In February 2018 he was Diodato's guest on the stage of the Ariston Theater. In 2019 he signed with Carosello and Artist First and participated in the 69th edition of the Sanremo Festival with the song “Rose Viola” (gold record), obtaining incredible public and critical acclaim. On April 24, 2020, in the midst of lockdown, his sixth album “Scritto nelle stelle” (Carosello Records/Artist First) was released, debuting at #2 in the Gfk chart of best-selling albums and #1 in the vinyl chart.
